Basa Fish Fillet Recipe INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 Basa Fish Fillets
  • 3 Dashes of Fish Sauce
  • 1 tbsp (estimated) of thick soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of oil for frying

Basa Fish Fillet Recipe INSRUCTIONS :
Rinse the basa fish fillet under cold water. Heat tbsp of oil in saucepan. Place the basa fish fillets in the pan and fry on both sides. Squirt some fish sauce onto the fish. It will turn white in color when fully cooked. Then take some thick soy sauce and rub the color into the fish with a spoon on both sides. This makes the fish taste a little more salty. • 1 cup Mexican beer
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon minced shallots
  • 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups shredded green or red cabbage
  • 1 large tomato chopped
  • Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Rinse and pat dry the fish. Cut each fillet into 4 strips. Place in a bowl and squeeze 1 of the limes, covering completely with juice. Set it aside for 15 minutes.
In a bowl mix the flour and beer. Whisk well and season with salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
In another bowl mix together the yogurt, mayonnaise, the juice of the other lime, cumin, garlic and cilantro. Whisk until blended well and season with salt to taste.
Fill a large skillet with oil and heat until the oil is very hot. Place the fish, one slice at a time, into the batter. Let the excess batter drip and place the fish in a single layer (work in batches). Fry the fish until evenly browned, turning once. Remove onto paper towels and drain off the excess oil.
Place a tortilla on top of another one. Smear with yogurt sauce. Place two pieces of fried batter in the middle. Top with cabbage and tomatoes. The basa fish fillet recipe is ready to serve. Enjoy it !

BASA FISH FILLET-2

BASA FISH FILLET-2

Ingredients:
  • Lemon juice (squeeze two or three lemons)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • Olive Oil
  • Flour
  • Bread Crumbs
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 0.5kg (1 pound) of basa fish fillet

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 450F (230 degrees C)
Mix the lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil into a bowl
Marinate the fish in the bowl for 10-15 minutes to soak up all the flavor
In the meantime, grab three bowls and put bread crumbs in one, the eggs in another and flour in the last one
Put the basa fish fillet in the bowl of flour, then the eggs and then the bread crumbs. This covers the fish with a nice coat of batter (very tasty!)
Put the basa fish fillet on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes (still at 450F)

Serving Tip: Same as above! A few slices of lemon can also add a nice touch (and you can sprinkle a bit more lemon juice on the fish!)
